For paths greater than 100 characters, this is done using the \&\f(CW\*(C`POSIX header prefix\*(C'\fR. Non-POSIX-compatible clients may not support this part of the specification, and may only support the \f(CW\*(C`GNU Extended Header\*(C'\fR functionality.
